Philosophy

Millions of children do not perform up to their full potential because of impaired health and poorly developed self-esteem affecting their learning and thinking skills. Empowering a child to take charge of his or her own learning process is one of the greatest gifts a teacher or a parent can give.

At the Center for the Promotion of Learning Abilities we believe learning disability may in part arise from teaching disability when adults fail to recognize learning differences in children. It is the Center’s goal to assist the learning process during critical periods of growth by (a) ensuring optimal nutritional state and (b) providing developmentally appropriate experiences to unfold the inherent learning competence.

The Center provides an ecological approach with multidisciplinary thrust based on the SYSTEMS VIEW of Human Development.
